The lectures to be given by J. R. Wheeler, Ph. D., on the Acropolis at Athans (mentioned in the CRIMSON a few weeks ago) will begin today. The course will consist of eight lectures descriptive of the principal ruins on the (?????) as well as on the Plain of Athans, and of the position and nature of the hill of the Acropolis. The letures will be delivered in the Jefferson Physical Laboratory, Monday and Friday afternoon at four o'clock, and will be open to the public. The lecture this afternoon will be on the Plain of Athens and the Acropolis in the successive periods of the city.
