There will be no lecture in Fine Arts 4 today.

Mr. J. J. Hayes will read Twelfth Night in Sever 11 Friday evening, May 23.

There was a cut in Greek 10 yesterday, and there will not be another lecture until Wednesday.

There will be no lecture in Greek 1 today, or in Latin 1 Monday on account of the honor examinations.

F. D. Kalopothakes, '88, has translated a number of English hymns into modern Greek, preserving the original meters.

A graduate quartette, composed of E. R. Shippen, '87, L. Honore, '88, A. L. Howard, '88, and J. D. Merrill, '89, will sing at the glee club concert next Thursday.

The following men, all of whom rowed Thursday in the class crews, formed a scratch crew which rowed against the university crew yesterday afternoon: Powers, '92; Lothrop '90; Fessenden, '90; Kelton, '93; Rantoul, '92; Nelson, Sp.; Longworth, '91, and Kidder, '92.

The subjects of the next four lectures in German 6 will be as follows: The idealism of Goethe's later works; the idealism of Thorwalsen's art; Jean Paul; and the political poetry in Germany.

Mr. Besolow, who is to speak in Lawrence Hall on Sunday afternoon, is fitting for Harvard at Wilbraham Academy. He will govern the tribes in the Niger valley on his return to Africa

The Cornell faculty has decided to discontinue the course in journalism, which has been given at Cornell for several years past. This action is made necessary by changes in the personnel of the English department.

The seniors celebrated the victories of their crew and nine last evening by marching about the yard headed by a brass band. They afterwards listened to a band concert, and finally broke up after cheering everything connected with the class.
