The spring meeting of the Connecticut division of the League of American Wheelmen, nad the 'cycling tournament of the New Haven Bicycle Club, take place at Hamilton Park, New Haven, June 9. The principal feature of the day will be the team race between Harvard and Yale. The New Haven Bicycle Club has offered a solid silver cup valued at $50, after the style of the Berkeley Oval cup, as a prize to the winner. Each team will consist of three men. The race will be for the greatest number of points. Six judges will be assigned for the race; one from Harvard, one from Yale, and four selected by the New Haven Bicycle Club. A parade has been arranged for the morning, in which it is expected 500 wheelmen will participate. In addition to the team race between Harvard and Yale, there are twelve other contests, only one of which, the mile handicap, will be open to Harvard and Yale. The officers of the day will be as follows: Charles S. Darol, referee David J. Post, F. C. Wolcott, '91, and F. P. Prine.
