Scratch Races.
On Thursday, Oct 22nd there will be scratch races for fours at the Weld Boat house, provided at least four crews enter. Cups will be given to each of the winning four. Entries close Wednesday at 2 p. m. Drawing will be posted at the boat house and boats will be reserved for the crews Wednesday afternoon for practice.
On Friday Oct 23d there will be races for single wherries, provided there are six entries. Cups will be given to the first and second. Entries close Friday at 2. Blue books for entries at Leavitt & Pierce's, Bartlett's and the boat house. Entry fee 25 cents. New men are particularly urged to enter.
