Glee Club Trip.

The final arrangements for the Western trip of the Glee, Banjo and Mandolin Clubs are now complete and the clubs will start from Boston tomorrow morning in time to reach New York for the concert there at 8 o'clock. The Pennsylvania Railroad, represented by Mr. Rodney Macdonough, will conduct the trip on the plan of the Raymond excursions; this makes the third trip which Mr. Macdonough has conducted for the Glee Club so that he has a friendly interest in the men entirely aside from his business interest. Of course, the social side of the trip is not thoroughly mapped out, for receptions, teas and dinners are liable to be given without warning. Such as have been announced are given in the brief summary of the itinerary which follows:

After the concert Thursday evening the Clubs will be given a dinner by the New York Harvard Club. Friday morning at eleven the clubs will leave for Philadelphia. They will give a concert in the evening and leave about half past ten, travelling all day Saturday and reaching Cincinnati at 6.15. There will be no time in Philadelphia for anything but the business of the concert. In Cincinnati, however, there will be a dinner at the Harvard Club.

Christmas Day every man will spend as he likes. Christmas night the clubs will leave at eight o'clock, arriving at Cleve land at seven the next morning. They will give a concert on Monday evening, after which there will be a dinner at the Union Club. Tuesday there will probably be a reception and the clubs will leave at 8.55 for Chicago, arriving there at 7.35 Wednesday morning. From Chicago they go to Milwaukee where they will be given a reception by Mrs. Abbott. There will be a concert in the evening, and Thursday morning they will return to the Auditorium, Chicago. Mrs. MacVeagh will give a reception in the afternoon and Mrs. Potter Palmer, who had planned a dance for the next evening, may give it Thursday. Friday there will be time for a visit to the World's Fair Grounds. After the concert Friday evening the clubs will leave for Buffalo.

There will be a concert in Buffalo Saturday evening after which Mrs. Gratwick will give a reception and this will be followed by a supper at the Buffalo Club. Sunday morning there will be a breakfast at the Country Club. If possible the clubs will stay in Buffalo for the Yale Glee Club Concerts Monday evening. Tuesday there will be a reception by Mrs. J. V. G. Pruyn. After the concert there will be a dance. Wednesday the clubs will return to Cambridge. A glance at this programme will show that the trip will be very hard on the men and that the pleasure will doubt less be very much like work before they get back to college.
