The freshman contests which were postponed Monday took place yesterday.

P. W. Whitemore, A. L. Jackson, B. S. Priest and R. C. Grew started in the final heat of the 220 yards run. Whitemore finished first. Time 24 3-5 secs. Jackson was second.

There were only two contestants in the pole vault, C. L. Hodgkins and F. W. Grinnell. Hodgkins took first, clearing the height of 9 ft. 3 inches.

The hammer throwing contest was declared off as only one man appeared.
