Instead of a single league of sixteen men as last year, there will be a double league of fourteen men, seven in each division, which will be selected after the matches assigned below have been played.

There are twenty candidates, as follows: Bailey, Ewing, Goodwin, Hovey, Hurd, Lee and Pillsbury, L. S.; Brooks, Parker, Stetson, Tallant, Whitehouse and Wilder '91; Brown, Orcutt and Potter '92; Stevens and Wrenn '93; Eustis '94; Jennings, G.

The following matches have been arranged for the week beginning Monday, April 13:

April 13, 2 p. m., Goodwin vs. White-house.

April 13, 2 p. m., Lee vs. Stevens.

April 13, 4 p. m., Brooks vs. Wrenn.

April 13, 4 p. m., Brown vs. Potter.

April 13, 4 p. m., Stetson vs. Pillsbury.

April 14, 2 p. m., Brooks vs. Wildes.

April 14, 4 p. m., Lee vs. Parker.

April 14, 4 p. m., Orcutt vs. Wrenn.

April 15, 11 a. m., Wildes vs. Wrenn.

April 15, 2 p. m., Eustis vs. Lee.

April 16, 11.30 a. m., Hurd vs. Jennings.

April 16, 2 p. m., Orcutt vs. Wildes.

April 16, 2 p. m., Bailey vs. Lee.

April 16, 4 p. m., Brown vs. Pillsbury.

April 17, 10 a. m., Hovey vs. Hurd.

The regular rules for the league are nearly the same as last year, as follows:

1. Each member will be assessed two dollars, to pay for prizes and running expenses.

2. Every match will be the best three out of five sets, the fifth set alone to be deuce.

3. Each player must furnish two good Wright and Ditson balls for each match.

4. The winner of each match will leave the score with the man in charge of the courts.

5. Arrangements for postponed matches must be made with the manager.

6. A player who forfeits one match will forfeit all.

7. The committee may fill at their discretion any vacancy prior to May 1.

RESERVED COURTS.8. The four middle courts on Jarvis Field will be reserved for the League; they cannot be used before 2 p. m. except on Saturday, when they are open at 11 a. m.; but they may be used for League matches at any time.

9. A bulletin of the reserved courts will be posted in the Gymnasium every Saturday, which may be signed (a) by members of the League and others to whom the privileges may be extended, at any time; (b) by any member of the university, but only on the day he wishes to play.

10. The courts will not be reserved more than fifteen minutes.

11. Every engagement of a reserved court is for two hours.

12. The privilege of using the reserved courts is extended to Mr. P. S. Sears and Professor J. W. White.
