The annual indoor open handicap athletic meeting given by the B. A. A. will take place on Saturday, Feb. 13th at 8 p. m. in Mechanics' Hall, Huntington Avenue.

There will be three special scratch events for novices: 40 yards dash and 440 yards run, open to those who have never won a prize in an open event for running at any distance; also running high jump, open to those who have never won a prize in an open running high jump contest.

The handicap events open to all amateurs are 40 yards dash, 6 ft. limit; 440 yards run, 20 yds. limit; one mile run, 80 yds. limit; 250 yds. run, 10 yds. limit; 880 yds. run, 45 yds. limit; one mile walk, 30 sec. limit; 300 yds. hurdle race, 2 ft. 6 in. hurdles, 10 yds. limit; running high jump, 4 in. limit; pole vault, 12 in. limit; putting 16 pound shot, no limit.

The track will be about thirteen laps. Competitors can use short spike shoes. Handsome prizes will be given to the first three men in each event. Entries must be made on the N. E. A. A. A. U. blanks and left with H. S. Cornish, official handicapper of the New England division. The entrance fee for each event is fifty cents and entries will close Wednesday, Feb. 3.
