A trial of candidates for the 'Varsity Banjo and Guitar Club was held in 24 Hastings last evening. Twenty-four men presented themselves, as follows: Banjos, J. B. Read '95, L. A. Myers '96, F. S. Hoppin '96, M. C. Ford '96, W. I. Brookings '95, T. Parker '95, H. S. Johnson '96, G. H. Spaulding '96, W. Lincoln '96, H. F. Vanderventer '96, R. E. Sayler '96, F. B. Hill '95, F. J, Currill '93, A. H. Hildreth '96, H. E. Williams '96, A. J. Borne '96, E. R. Braman '96; Guitars, F. E Lowell '95, A. R. Storrs '96, J. I. Stearns '93, J. L. Bremer '96, A. R. Sheriff L. S., E. H. Angier S., C. Barrett '96. All men who were taken on for further trial will be notified by postal.
