The all comers match was won by Pike with a score of 19 out of 20; Sargent second 18 out of 20. Prizes were given for the best team practice. Sargent and Gould were tied with 27 out of 30 and Gould won the shoot off.
Harvard lost both shoots last year to Yale but the outlook for victory this year is very bright, if the scores made yesterday are any criterion. The team which will compete at Springfield tomorrow will be made up of C. B. Pike, captain, B. A. Gould jr., J. Sargent jr., G. C. Gibson and either C. Pierce or S. Heckscher. The team will leave this afternoon for Springfield and will meet Saturday morning at nine at the Massasoit House.
The last spring match was lost by two birds and the match last fall was won by Yale' with six tallies to spare. This fall, however, it is safe to predict that the match will be exceedingly close and the Harvard team has a good chance to win.
