The men who will represent Harvard at the intercollegiate chess tournament to be held in New York during the holidays, have been chosen, and are as follows; R. Wilson '94 and S. M. Ballon '93: substitutes, J. M. MacKavs p. E. Goldmark, '94, and W. L. Van Kleeck '95.
The exercises at which the challenge cup is to be presented, will be held on Tuesday, December 27th at 3 p.m. Mr. Chauncy M. Depew will make the presentation speech and Mr. McAlpine of Princeton will reply for the colleges. The games will begin at 4 o'clock on the same day and will continue one week, each man playing one game a day. The winning team will be entitled to hold the cup until it is again challenged, and each member of the team will receive a silver medal.
