Sixty - nine men are now rowing every afternoon with the freshman crew squad. The men use the new rowing weights, which have lately been placed in the rowing room of the Gymnasium. Unlike the old weights, these new ones work on the principle of pressure against glycerine. They are more easily regulated and cared for than the old machines.
