The fourth indoor open handicap athletic meeting of the Boston Athletic Association will be given on Saturday, February 11, 1893, in Mechanics' Hall, Huntington Avenue, Boston. The special events will be as follows:

Team races: Harvard vs. Yale. Amherst vs. Dartmouth. Worcester Athletic Club vs. Suffolk Athletic Club.

Special races: E. L. White, Suffolk A. C., vs. W. H Allison. Worcester A. C. Distance 1 mile. F. Rowe, Suffolk A. C., vs. J. F. Moakley, Dorchester A. C. Distance 880 yards.

Tug-of-War contest: Gloucester A. C., vs. Acorn A. A., of Brooklyn, N. Y.

There will also be the following open event:

40 yard dash. (Scratch). Open to those who have never won a prize in an open event for running at any distance. (Open events are those which are open to the members of two or more clubs.)

Handicap events: 40 yards dash (9 ft. limit); 600 yards run (30 yards limit); 1 mile run (80 yards limit); 1 mile walk (45 seconds limit); 45 yards hurdle race (9 ft. limit); 3 hurdles, 3 ft. 6 in. each; running high jump (6 in. limit). A special limit will be given to any one breaking the indoor record in any of these events.

The track will be 130 yards in circumference, with raised corners, the same as last year and short spikes can be used.

The prizes are silver shields meunted on antique oak and will be given to first, second and third men in each event. An entrance fee of fifty cents for each event must accompany every entry. These entries must be made out on the N. E. A. A. A. U. official entry blank which may be had from the Secretary of the H. A. A. No entries will be received after Wednesday, February 1.
