The Harvard Electric Club.

On the twenty first of December a meeting was called at the reading rooms of the Lawrence Scientific School, of many students interested in electricity, for the purpose of reviving the Harvard Electric Club founded in '88. This club through faculty management had not been a success, and as it seemed a pity that the interests of the students of electricity should not be united, P. W. Davis called a meeting for the object above stated.

After Mr. Adams had addressed a few words to the meeting, on the advantages of an Electric Club and the proper methods of running one, the old constitution was amended. The following officers were then elected; - President, P. W. Davis; vice-president G. B. Pierce; secretary and treasurer, F. E. Frothingham; librarian, E. Clark; executive committee, above officers ex- officers, J. C. D. Hitch, T. H. Soren, J. F. Vaughan.

It was voted that the club should not be a social organization, that its object should be to promote knowledge of electricity and kindred subjects. The meetings are to be bi-weekly, the first being on January 11 in the Lawrence Scientific School reading room. Prominent electricians will address the club and members will regularly read papers before it.
