Arrangements have been completed for the second annual chess tournament, which will be held at New York city during the Christmas holidays. It will be played under the same conditions as last year's tournament, and by the same four contesting colleges, Harvard, Yale, Columbia, and Princeton.

Each college will present a team of two men and each player will participate in six games. The college whose team has the highest percentage of games won will hold the silver cup donated by graduates of the four colleges for next year. This year each member of the winning team will also receive a silver medal. As last year, it is expected that Chauncey M. Depew will open the tournament by an address.

The tournament is now assured as an annual affair, after the fashion of the Oxford-Cambridge chess tourneys in England.
