On June 20, 1893, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences passed the following votes, which are called to the special attention of all undergraduates:

In order to be recommended for the degree of Bachelor of Arts, a student must have passed in all prescribed studies and in the requisite number of elective courses. He must, moreover, have stood above Grade D in at least one half of all his college work, and in at least one half of the work of his senior year.

That the part of this vote which relates to the senior year shall go into effect in 1893-94; and that the principle of the rule shall be applied to all records from the beginning of the academic year 1893-94.
