Several changes have recently been made in the make-up of the freshman crew. Irving has been placed at stroke and Phelps has succeeded Sleeper at No. 4. Twelve men are now at the training table, but this number will probably soon be reduced to ten.

Davy is making a new pair-oared barge which will be used by the substitutes.

Columbia's challenge has been accepted and the triangular race between Harvard, Yale and Columbia freshmen will be held as usual on one of the three days before the Harvard-Yale 'varsity race.

The crew is rowing in the following order: Stroke, H. D. Irving; 7, S. Hollister; 6, A. A. Sprague; 5, P. Houghton; 4, W. H. Phelps; 3, M. S. Duffield; 2, H. C. Cornwell; bow, F. K. Kernan.
