The University of Pennsylvania entered Friday on its one hundred and fifty-sixth year. The number of students is increased in nearly every branch of the college. In the medical school the freshman class this year numbers about 250, and is larger than that of 1894, while the upper classes will include fifty undergraduates from other colleges.
