A little change from the usual routine took place yesterday, namely; the outplaying of Adams's squad by Thompson's. In the first half for Adams's eleven Macomber made a touchdown after a long run, while Thompson's men were unable to come within 15 yards of the line. In the second half changes were made on both sides, and Thompson's team forced the ball to 5 feet of their opponents' line. They lost the chance for scoring by a fumble, but five minutes later Proctor made a beautiful punt which brought the ball almost to Adams's men's line. Thompson's squad broke through, blocked the attempted punt and scored a touchdown. During no time in the half was their goal in danger.
