Yale vs. Princeton.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

This afternoon the annual Yale-Princeton game takes place on Manhattan Field, New York. The two teams appear to be very evenly matched. Princeton has played eleven games, with one tie, scoring a total of 214 points and losing eight. Yale has played fourteen games, with two ties, scoring 296 points and losing 28.

This seems to indicate that Yale excels in offensive work and Princeton in defensive. Yale's line is much lighter than her opponents, except at centre. Yale's backs, on the other hand, outweigh Princeton's, though by only a slight margin. The average weight of the whole Princeton team is 1771/3 pounds; Yale averages 171.5 pounds. Both teams make the tackles their main object of attack. Princeton has eight veteran players, while Yale has only four men who played on the 'varsity last year. All things considered, the game promises to be very exciting and closely contested from start to finish.
