The following arrangements have been made for the inter-club debate:
There will be six speakers on each side. Of these, four on each side will give five minute speeches. The two principal disputants have 25 minutes between them, of which time, one will reserve 7 minutes for rebuttal.
It is hoped that by this rapid succession of short speeches, fourteen in all, the element of rebuttal will be increased. The debate of last year proved, under a similar system, unusually energetic and interesting.
