After a Rocky Year, Harvard Faces an Uncertain Economic Climate in 2021, Hollister Says
The marked improvement of our eleven this year over any we have ever had before has been a matter of comment from many sources. That this fact is due in a very great measure to the faithful work of the men, and the untiring efforts of Captain Holden, is beyond dispute. Nevertheless the aid rendered by Messrs. Adams, Willard and Lathrop, in coaching the team, was invaluable. These gentlemen deserve the thanks of the college for the interest they have shown in behalf of the team, and for the time they have willingly spent in coaching the men. Thanks are also due to Mr. Palmer for his efficient management of the team, and for the pains he has taken to make such arrangements for the trip to New York, as to bring the cost within the means of so many men in college.
