At a meeting of the Cercle Francais last evening, H. G. Gray '97, was elected president in place of F. P. Chaves '97, resigned. Mr. Brun gave a very interesting talk on "The Duel in France." He traced the growth of the duel from mediaeval times, giving examples of the most noted combats.
