Mr. J. Pim, champion of England, and Mr. Mahoney, his partner in doubles, have accepted the invitation of the Neighborhood Club of West Newton, and will arrive the week previous to the Neighborhood tennis tournament, fixed for June 24. They will be the guests of the club during their stay, and will return the week following the tournament, not appearing at any other event.
The American players that have accepted the invitations of the Neighborhood Club are Hobart, Hovey, Larned and Chace. Wrenn has declined, owing to his interest in baseball.
Mr. Pim is the present holder of the championship in England, and he will defend the title on returning from his American tour.
