Freshman Crew.

Although the number of candidates for the freshman crew has been reduced by twenty, there are left about sixty to try for the crew. The men are still divided into four squads which row at different hours in the afternoon. The work consists, for the present, of rowing on the machines with strapped slides followed by chest-weight exercises and a short run. Those who have coached the candidates so far are A. M. Kales '96, G. H. Derby '96, F. K. Kernan '97 and A. A. Sprague '97.
