Dr. Daniel Denison Slade of the class of '44 died yesterday morning at his home in Newton.
Dr. Slade was born in 1824. He graduated from Harvard with the class of '44 and in the following year entered the Medical School, at which he took his degree in 1848. He then began active practice and later became Professor of Practical Zoology and Lecturer in Osteology in the Medical School.
