William S. McKenzie, D. D., of the class of '55, whose home was in Winchester, died Saturday. He prepared for Harvard at Acadia College and at Worcester Academy. After graduating with honors in 1855 he studied for the ministry at the Newton Theological School. Since graduation at the Theological School he has held various pastorates in New England and Canada, and has been a governor of Acadia College, first secretary of the Canadian Mission Board, and New England Secretary of the American Baptist Missionary Union. He was also a poet of some ability.

He received the degree of A. M. adeundem from Brown University in 1864, D. D. from Le Grange in 1873 and A. M. adeundem from Acadia in 1895.
