To the Editors of the Crimson:

The "Historic Harvard" scheme of a series of four or more lectures to be given during the present spring would undoubtedly meet with great success could it be satisfactorily arranged. There are many gentlemen both among the residents of Cambridge and the professors in the University admirably fitted to speak upon the subject of "Harvard in the Past." Surely it would add much to the interest of our college life if we knew more of the historic events connected with the origin and growth of the college. We wish to give our hearty support to the plan and urge its immediate adoption and suggest that the lectures be given during May.

A DOZEN GRADUATES AND UNDERGRADUATES.To the Editors of the Crimson:

Would you kindly aid me in charity work by requesting, editorially or otherwise, all students and others interested in boys' clubs and "progressive" work generally, to contribute any articles, reports or items of interest to the Pastime, monthly paper, printed and published wholly by the boys of my Club, the Pastime Progressive Club, of North Bennet street. We fill the paper mostly with articles written by the boys, but we greatly desire matter of interest to the members from outside sources. If those men connected with the Prospect Union and the Oak Street Club could furnish reports of their work, our boys would be greatly interested. All communications should be addressed to me at 403 Washington St.
