The preliminary trial debate to select men for the Princeton debate was held last evening in Sever 11. The judges were Professors Baker and Briggs, and Mr. Hayes. The question for debate was: "Resolved, That, assuming the adoption of adequate constitutional amendments, the United States should institute a system of responsible cabinet government." The following nine men were selected: N. B. Marshall '97, A. G. Lewis Gr., S. R. Wrightington '97, W. B. Parker '97, A. M. Sayre Sp., H. W. Beal '97, E. F. Douthworth '97, F. Hendrick '97, F. O. White '99.
These men will debate on Friday evening, and the final selection of men to meet Princeton will then be made.
