Freshman Football Practice.

On Wednesday the Freshman eleven had its last hard practice before the game with Pennsylvania, and yesterday only light work was done. There will be no practice today. The eleven has been slowly improving and although still weak in some respects will probably make a good showing in the game Saturday.

The practice yesterday consisted in kicking and breaking through on kicks, and the first eleven went through signals. On the breaking through the first eleven was rather slow, often failing to stop the punt. On the defensive the men were better though still not as good as they should be. The first eleven lined up as follows:

Heard, who has been laid up with a bad knee since Monday is still on crutches, but he will probably be able to play on Saturday.
