Although the weather conditions could not have been better for the track games yesterday afternoon, the track was heavy and no especially good records were made except in the 120 yard high hurdle race which was won by G. G. Hubbard '00, who, owing 13 yards, beat out E. H. Clark L. S., by a yard. Hubbar also won the 220 yard hurdle race handily in 27 1-5 seconds.
H. E. Shore '99, won the 440 yard dash in 52 seconds, finishing well ahead with a good deal up his sleeve.
The half mile run was a close race between T. C. Ledyard '00, (60 yds.), and E. D. Fullerton '98, (50 yds.); Ledyard winning by a yard in 1m. 59 2-5s.
In the 220 yard dash, W. H. Denholm '97, (scratch), beat G. H. Miffin '00, (18 yds.), by six inches in 22 4-5s.
In the mile run D. Grant M. S., (scratch), who had previously run in the half mile, was not up to his usual form and failed to pull down the field. The race was won by C. L. Bouve '99, (140 yds), in 4m. 29 3-5s.
