L. Burrill; from the Law School, J. P. Hall and G. S. T. Newell; from the graduates and instructors, L. T. Damon; from the Divinity School, H. White.

The votes wers distributed as follows: In '97, Scott 61, Cram 44, Hill 40, Moe 37, Buckman 31; in '98; Bigelow 84, Fuller 79, Grilk 70, Bunting 27, Gardner 24, Butler 20; in '99, Gerrish 40, Burrill 21, scattering 12; in the Law School, Hall 76, Newell 63, McKean 41, scattering 7; in the Graduate School, Damon 24, Daly 22; in the Divinity School, White 4, Rice 1.
