The meeting of the candidates for the freshman crew was held in Capt. Hutchinson's room last night. The usual number of athletes and enthusiastic men assembled and put down their names. The coxswain's seat is to be hotly contested as three candidates appeared for that onerous position. The class of '90 has a good showing of big men and ought to do well on the water. Following is a list of the candidates.
