Cornell Crew.

The number of candidates for position on the Cornell 'varsity crew has been reduced to twenty-six. Not all of these men have gone into regular training, owing to press of college work. Freeborn, Troy, Slade, Tatum, Spillman, and Roe have all rowed on former crews either in this country or England. Beside these, there are several promising men, some of whom have been members or substitutes on class crews. With six of the old men back again in the boat it is felt that a strong crew will be turned out this year.
