Winter Tennis Club of Newton.

The Winter Tennis Club of Newton will hold an open handicap tournament at its club court at Bray's Hall, Newton Centre, beginning March 16. Among those who will play are Hovey,Foote and Chace.

Matches will be best two in three sets, except in the finals, which will be best three in five,- odd sets and all sets in the final match to be deuce and vantage.

Play will commence at 2.30 and 7.30 o'clock daily. Entries may be sent to W. L. Sanborn, Newton Centre, or made in a blue-book which has been left at Leavitt and Peirce's, before Friday evening, March 13.
