B. G. Waters '94, came out with the 'varsity crew yesterday for the first time this year. He sat in the boat at No. 7 during the first part of the afternoon, after which his place was taken by Blake who had been rowing at No. 5. Cameron in turn took Blake's place. The rest of the crew was made up in this order: Bow, Purdon; 2, F. Davis; 3, Townsend; 4, Bullard; 6, Davis; stroke, Fennessy.
It is by no means certain that Waters will sit at 7, but his superior strength will doubtless prove of great benefit to the crew wherever he rows. He will not go into active training till next week.
