Yesterday afternoon after the preliminary practice the Freshman Team played a six-inning game with the College Nine, in which the College Team won by the score of four to three. The game was very close, neither side scoring after the first inning. The Freshmen showed marked improvement and put up the best game they have played so far this year, and with a substitute pitcher did well to hold the College Nine down to four runs.

Score by innings:

College Nine, 4 0 0 0 0 0-3

Freshman, 3 0 0 0 0 0-4
