The Sophomores defeated Ninety-seven yesterday afternoon in a six-inning practice game which was characterized by loose fielding and fairly good batting, as none of the pitchers were effective. Ninety-seven's regular pitcher, Harris, was absent so Daly of the Sophomores, pitched for the Juniors. The score was 10 to 3.
Ninety-eight will play the Cambridge High and Latin School team on Soldiers Field this afternoon at 2.30 o'clock.
