Changes in University Hall.

The changes in University Hall, proposed by President Eliot in his report last year, will probably be carried out this summer. President Eliot called attention to the need of a larger room for Faculty meetings, and proposed that the old University Hall chapel be restored for this purpose. This would necessitate taking away the partition between the present meeting room and the adjacent room in the other entry, and also the floor above. These changes will give a room of sufficient size for the Faculty meetings, and having much better ventilation, that of the present room being very poor.

The Recorder's office is also much too small, and several plans for providing a large room have been considered. The one most likely to be carried out is to move the office downstairs in Room 4. The rooms in the northern end of the building will remain as at present.
