The race of the Weld Boat Club four-oared crews will be rowed on Saturday, November 6, over the lower half of the class crew course in the basin. The start will be made at 3.30 from the Union Boat Club and the finish off the Fenway just above the Harvard Bridge,- one mile straight-away with the tide.
Four entries for the race were made yesterday and one or two more entries are expected. Those crews which entered yesterday drew for choice of boats in the order given below:
1. Stroke, Hawes 1900; 3, Bowling 1900; 2, Hosley 1900; bow, Mallincrodt 1900.
2. Stroke, Savage '99; 3, Alger '99; 2, Richards '99; bow, Norton, '99.
3. Stroke, Marsh '99; 3, Lapsley '99; 2, Butler '99; bow, Ruhl '99.
4. Stroke, Newton '98; 3, Gould '98; 2, Morrill 1900; bow, Warner '98.
