A debate will be held in Perkins Hall, 264 Boylston street, Boston, on the evening of November 18 at 8 p. m. Subject: "Resolved, That American communities should adopt a permanent system of furnishing work for their own unemployed."

Mr. Thomas H. Russell 2nd, of the Law School of Boston University, and Miss Grace G. Ward, a graduate of the College of Liberal Arts, will speak on the affirmative. Mr. Frank Hendrick of the Harvard Law School, and Miss Maud Wood '97, of Radcliffe College will speak on the negative. Judges: Professor Coman of Wellesley College, Professor Start of Tufts College, Professor Ripley of Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Open to the public.
