The second hare and hound run was held yesterday afternoon. Forty men started and almost all finished. The hares, D. Grant, M. S., and E. A. Starbuck '98, chose a good course, running about nine miles and circling Fresh Pond.
Owing to a misunderstanding the hounds shortened the course gaining about two miles and coming in within four minutes of the hares. On account of this mistake the run was won by the hares. The first four hounds to finish were H. W. Foote '97, A. B. Ruhl '99, J. F. Downey sS., W. C. Burton '99.
The next run will take place on Friday, Nov. 20, and H. W. Foote '97 and A. B. Ruhl '99 will be the hares.
