Mr. H. B. Sargent, Jr., died suddenly on Saturday, in his appartments at 3 Spruce street. Mr. Sargent was a graduate of the Scientific School, and of the Law School, class of 71. He came of an old and noted Boston family. His father, General Sargent, graduated from Harvard in 1843, and is the founder of the Horace Binney Sargent scholarship. Mr. Sargent entered upon the practice of his profession as assistant city solicitor under J. P. Healey, but relinquished his profession about ten years ago. He was State Inspector of Rifle Practice on General Sutton's staff.
