The Number of Candidates is Larger than Ever Before.

In response to the second call for candidates for the Freshman crew, 153 men presented themselves yesterday afternoon at the rowing room of the Gymnasium. Of these, 109 came out at the first call on November 2. The total number of men is by far the largest that ever came out for a class crew, the number last year being under a hundred. Captain Goodrich addressed the candidates, briefly outlining the work of the next few weeks. The regular work which will be very light until after Christmas, will begin on Monday.
