Sophomore Trial Debate.
The Sophomore Debating Club will hold the first trial for the speakers on the debate with the Freshman Debating Club on Dec. 9. The question will be: "Resolved, That the United States should annex the Hawaiian islands." Speeches will be limited to four minutes. This trial will be open only to active members of the club, Union and Forum Sophomores being excluded.
Fifteen men will be chosen who will speak at the final trial Dec. 16.
Reference books are reserved in the United States history room of the Library.
