Freshman Crew.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

For the last two days the Freshman crew has not been on the river until about five o'clock, as the men have been taking their strength tests. T. N. Perkins, '91, has been coaching the crew from the stern of the boat and also from a pair-oar. Yesterday afternoon the crew rowed down to Harvard Bridge and also practiced some starts with the '96 crew. The Freshmen have been rowing rather poorly of late, and, unless they make a great improvement, their chance of making a good showing in the class races is very slight. The order of the crew with their weights and heights is:

Weight. Height.

Stroke, Boardman, 164 5 ft. 7 in.

7 McDuffie, 164.5 6 ft.

6 Thomson, 172 6 ft. .5 in.

5 Donald, 176 5 ft. 11 in.

4 Perkins, 164 6 ft.

3 Whitbeck, 163 5 ft. 9.5 in.

2 Swift, 164 5 ft. 11 in.

Bow, Dibblee, 145 5 ft. 7 in.

Substitutes:

Holden, 162 5 ft. 8.5 in.

Sampson, 149 5 ft. 8.25 in.

Plumb (coxswain), 110
