The weekly meeting of the Freshman Debating Club was held last evening in Sever 11, with about forty members present. The question discussed was: "Resolved, That the Civil Service Act should be extended to all departments of the government service." F. C. Gulick and H. A. Frieberg spoke on the affirmative and M. Davis and A. C. Gould on the negative. Several members also spoke from the floor. The debate was decided in favor of the negative.
