Last Saturday afternoon at the Pennsylvania relay meet, Harvard won the mile relay race from Yale, U. of P. Georgetown and Carlisle. The contest was very close, but Fish won the first relay in 51 2-5s. and Vincent won the second in 50 1-5s. Butler, however, weakened considerably and fell just before reaching the tape. Hollister then managed to touch him and though Fisher, Yale's crack quarter-miler had gained a lead of seven yards, the Harvard runner overhauled him and won by five yards. The time for the relay was 49 4-5s., but allowing for the delay Hollister's time was considerably faster. The whole time was 3m. 23s.

The U. of P. won the two and four mile relays from Brown and Yale respectively. At the annual spring games of the U. of P. held at the same time, Hoffman won the 100 in 10s., and the 220 in 22 1-5s. Another remarkable performance was that of Fetterman in the mile walk. He lowered the I. C. A. A. A. A. record of 6m. 52 4-5s. to 6m. 50s.
