The College nine defeated St. Mark's at Southboro, Saturday, in a loosely played game by a score of 25 to 9.

The Harvard team started out well, making four runs and shutting out St. Mark's in the first inning. In the second Harvard made two runs, but allowed the school team to make five. In the fourth inning St. Mark's made two runs, tieing the score.

Neither side scored in the fifth inning, but in the sixth St. Mark's gained a lead of one run. The seventh inning opened for Harvard with a single by Galbraith. Foster got a base on balls, Vincent was hit with a pitched ball, and Holt's base on balls started the scoring by forcing Galbraith over the plate. After this, hits and bases on balls followed rapidly until the Harvard team had piled up eleven runs. For the rest of the game they had things all their own way. St. Mark's made only one more run during the game.
