The first Senior dance will be held on the evening of June 23 in Memorial Hall. Dancing will begin at 8 o'clock and last until 12. The delta on the west side of Memorial Hall is to be enclosed with a fence and fir trees, in the way in which the Yard has always been shut off. The large space thus enclosed will be lighted with Japanese lanterns and will be filled with tables, at which supper may be served. Most of these tables will be specially reserved for those Seniors who buy four or more tickets. At one end of this garden an orchestra will be placed, which will play during the evening in addition to the large orchestra which will furnish music for the dancing in the hall. It is intended to make this enclosed part of the delta one of the most attractive features of the dance.
Memorial Hall will be given up entirely to dancing. The plan, at first proposed, of having boxes in the Hall has been given up owing to its impracticability, but it is thought that the reserved tables in the Delta will serve the same purpose. The floor will be thoroughly polished and waxed and the whole interior of the Hall will be decorated with evergreens.
Dance cards will be given to ticket holders. They have been appropriately designed and will be attractive souvenirs of the dance.
